Visiting Bishops Castle

Bishop’s Castle itself is a small market town tucked away in beautiful South West Shropshire, renowned for its walking and local food.  There is a large and thriving artists’ community alongside the farmers bringing their stock to market. 

Adding to the mix are the new eco-development houses, which are rapidly gaining an international reputation for their approach to ‘green’ building.  The town itself has two brewery tap pubs, and Ludlow is a short distance from Bishop’s Castle with its reputation for quality, local food.

Many people come for the weekend and return regularly.
